I grew up without easy access to computers or the internet. When I finally got my hands on technology, it kept breaking.
When introduced to open source, everything changed. I downloaded six DVDs of Debian Linux software from the university labs. Back at my apartment, with no internet, I spent hundreds of hours exploring, learning, building.
For the first time, I felt empowered instead of locked out.
