Operational cost example:
Assumptions: 50 Users with 1TB of SharePoint sites / drives and 1TB of personal storage in their OneDrive accounts.
The employees will link MS 365 accounts with their computer apps like Teams, OneDrive and Outlook, within OneDrive linking their Desktop, Documents and any other important folders, this will synchronise the data to their private OneDrive space.
By using the same OneDrive client app on their computer they get access to the centralised SharePoint drives like Teams collaboration folders or Departments, even global folders for the entire company, depending on the need for MS Office apps then the licenses can be either:
– MS 365 Exchange plan 1 @ USD 5 / user / month (Email only)
– MS 365 Business Basic @ USD 7 / user / month (Email, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, 1TB personal space)
– MS 365 Business Standard @ USD 13 / user / month (Business Basic + MS Office desktop apps)
